MY QUEST

This site is titled “Mama Titus” because I am an “older woman” as described in Titus 2:3-4, which encourages older women to teach those who are younger. I have believed passionately in Jesus Christ since childhood yet simultaneously grappled painfully with questions that would not let me rest. I have been granted some answers, others are still waiting, but the ones I have I offer to you, with the hope that they will be useful. May our God bless your quest.

MY FAITH

I come from an Evangelical background and hold steadfastly to the Christian beliefs that God is one in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, that Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ, the Son of God who became human, lived, died, rose again, ascended, is coming again and is our only savior, and that the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God. But just how this all fits together, I'm not sure. I have, however, received much help from the theology of the early church.

MY QUALIFICATIONS

While I have degrees and professional experience related to teaching the Christian faith, I don’t count them as significant qualifications for the credibility of this site. As someone once told me, “Let your words be your resume.” Therefore, I hope you will be more interested in whether or not my search for truth resonates with yours.
